DESCRIPTION:Kva gjer ein tennisracket og ei tyggegummiboble midt blant mjuk fløyel og blondekreasjonar? Argentinske Romina Ressia er fødd i 1981 og bur og arbeider i Buenos Aires. Kjenneteiknet hennar er at ho nyttar absurditetar og ironi i fotografia sine. Klassiske malte portrett er ofte inspirasjonskjelda, men sjølv om fotografia først ser «berre» vakre ut, er det alltid eit framand element til stades. I utstillinga i nye fjoset på Hå gamle prestegard får me sjå 13 portrett og kjem inn i ei verd av absurditetar, alvor og humor. "Regarding the concepts, I get inspiration from real people, the world, and some contemporary issues. In that way, I think my work has a strong sociological content . . . I like to show people’s behaviours and reactions in the modern world. Then, I present those ideas with my personal style, which is very influenced by Art. I am an Art lover, in all of its forms, and I am mainly passionate about Classic artworks." Romina Ressia har mellom anna studert fotografi, motefotografi og Art Direction. Ho studerte scenografi ved Teatro Colon i Buenos Aires. I 2017 fekk ho tittelen «Årets fotograf» ved International Color Awards. Ho er kjøpt inn av mellom anna Salo Art Museum i Finland, der ho hadde utstilling i 2017. Same år hadde ho òg utstilling ved Somerset House i London. Utstillinga står til 26. august 2018.
